We provide assistance, at no charge, with Temporary Restraining Orders.
We assist with understanding what the restraining order can do for them and the protection it provides, paperwork preparation and court submittal.
We are not allowed to give legal advice and do not assist with divorce or child custody issues.
In order to receive assistance with a restraining order, a survivor may come in and pick up a preliminary informational packet to be filled out. It may be completed while in the office or taken home, filled out and returned to the Women’s Center.
